J03489+2351Aa,Ab

Double star of uncertain nature, with high proper motion. Discovered in a lunar occultation in 1973, and observed again in 2010. The observation is highly desired, but will not be easy: the event is an emersion, the Moon is highly illuminated and low on the horizon, the difference in magnitude is Delta_m=2.9, and the distance from the contact to the terminator will only be 40". An adequate exposure time may be difficult to set. The primary is very bright (mag. 6.4), while the secondary is of mag. 9.3.
