This is a multiple system. A number of pairs can be studied by means of lunar occultations: Aa,Ab, AB, BC, BD, CD and Da,Db. Note that the separations between some components are very large, as well as the magnitude difference (A is eta Tau, of visual magnitude 2.9). It is advisable to prepare the observation by locating the different components in advance and organise the recordings accordingly. Observing conditions should be good, but the Moon will be low on the horizon.
